The process starts with designing and deciding what to engrave onto the Plexiglas. During this process one needs to keep a couple of things in mind. The laser cutter engraves in grey tones, meaning all the designs need to be created in black and white.

Due to only engraving an extremely thin layer the grey tones tend to be on the brighter side.

Showcased are the original designs of this plexiglas. The greyscale represents the laser cutting depth.

Once the Plexiglas has been engraved combine it with a digital screen. Try and explore different types of screen (computer, phone, television etc.). Each combination has a different and unique outcome due to the different sizes of pixels.
Use it to manipulate screens or combine them with your designs.

Here's an example of a design laser cut onto a Screen protector for a phone.
This could be some type of culture-jamming, representing how we can't get enough of digital screens.

Even combining the plexi sheets with photography results in a unique outcome.
